The Adult Program on Islam will be held at the Ismaili Center in Houston, Texas — a landmark of contemporary Islamic architecture and a vital hub for the North American Ismaili community. The Center provides a setting that is at once contemplative and intellectually generative, offering an environment ideally suited to the program’s emphasis on reflection, dialogue, and serious academic engagement.
While the majority of the program will take place at the Ismaili Center, participants will also have the opportunity to engage with the wider Houston community through scheduled field trips and visits arranged as part of the program.
Travel Information
Participants are expected to arrive in Houston, TX on the evening of August 20th, 2026.
Departing flights should be scheduled for the morning of August 24th, 2026 from Houston, TX.
Participants are responsible for booking their own airfare. Accommodation, meals, program materials, and scheduled activities are all included in the program fee.
